End of Spring 2026 Highlights

The end of the Spring 2026 semester was a busy one for the Bassing Lab. Ashlyn and Chase both:

• Presented their proposed research in our departmental spring seminar series, 
• Established research committees, 
• Developed and wrote research proposals, and
• Prepared for their respective summer field seasons!

Meanwhile, Sarah finished co-teaching Fish & Wildlife Capstone for the first time, which involved a lot of course development and some trail and error. Special thanks to Ashlyn for being an incredibly helpful TA in this class!
